Time for Change

Written By: KC9LBD - Sep• 21•11

Yesterday I had an interview with an assisted living facility down in Stevens Point. I am hoping to have good news soon. This is happening 6 mo. before I graduate too even better. Travis’ new career as a job creator -aka self employed- is going good. This is how I found out about the job in Stevens Point. Gini is really taking off with the walking too.

Today we celebrate 9 yrs of marraige too. These last 9 yrs have been great. We have had our ups and downs and we are still together. We have been there for each other and will continue to be there for each other til the end. I look forward to what is in store for us the good and the bad. What ever it is we will get through it together like we always have.

A new begining

Today we start a new chapter in our lives. Travis quit his job and is going to try his hand at sales. This is an exciting and yet scarey adventure that we are undertaking. At some point in the last 2 almost 3 years things seemed to get out of hand as far as moods for both of us that effected how we functioned as a couple.

Now we need to learn how to work together once again. This task should be a little like riding a bike once you know how you never forget. If you have not ridden for awhile you may be shaky at first but soon get back at it like the pro that you once where.

With that said I am now down to 6 mos. left before I am done with school then it will be Travis’ turn to go back. That all depends on how long it takes me to find a job. By the time he is done with school Gini will be just about ready to start school so it all works out that while she is little she will be home with either Mom or Dad.

Second Grade

Kayden started 2nd grade on Thursday. He is also riding the bus to and from school this year and he is excited about that. The first day of school he was ready to go in about 20  min. and had his backpack on 1 hr before we had to go get the bus. Man I cannot believe he is in 2nd grade already. Where has the time gone. I hope that he keeps up the excitement for school this year.

Gini is starting to walk already- when she does not realize that she is doing it anyway. She is growing up just as fast as Kayden is. She still likes to eat and yet weighs nothing at all. We almost nothing. She is like her father in that regard.

Look who’s walking

Gini’s walking. Look out world here she comes. Maybe Kayden should look out first.

Hello I’m Stephanie. Welcome to my Mayham. Here you will find out what is going on in my chaotic world as a wife, mom, student, and what ever else I take on as time goes on. It is not easy taking care of everything that I have to do but by the end of the day I some how to manage to get it done or at least most of it done.

Travis and I have been married for 8 years coming up on 9 this September. We have 2 kids Kayden and Gini ( Virginia). Then there are the fuzzy children Loki, Gentoo, and Moose all three of them are big dogs too.

Yes I am a student as well I will be graduating in March with and Associates in Medical Assisting from Rasmussen College. I am looking forward to getting back to work and out of the house more.

If you haven’t noticed the spelling of Mayham with the HAM at the end it is because I am also a HAM radio operator. It is something that I enjoy and it is also something that we can do as a family.

Well now you know a little about me.
